I am the co-founder at Raise and bring over twelve years of experience in supporting African startup ecosystems to the table. Before this, I led Africa’s office for Village Capital ($33M fund). I managed the due diligence process for Generation Africa, an initiative by Econet Global (ZSE: ECO) and Yara International. Managed due diligence for more than 3,000 companies on the continent. Before this, I worked at Centsavvy Investments, trading securities on the Nairobi Stock Exchange. I also managed economic development projects for Nairobi County Government and Norec (former FK Norway). I am passionate about agriculture and advocates for a green economy.

I have a well-documented history of successfully expanding sustainable businesses domestically and globally, with expertise in identifying investment opportunities, conducting in-depth analyses, overseeing investment preparedness initiatives, engaging in negotiations, and finalising funding agreements.
